In my opinion, I believe Cartoon Network needs to do an annual contest where they let their fans (especially the older fans who grew up watching the channel) be creative and pitch their own cartoons ideas to the network. Especially those who are young  inspiring animators, artists and writers. I'm an inspiring storyboard artist/character designer and would LOVE to pitch a few ideas of mine to the network

If there were series aimed at older kids and youth like teens I'd consider watching CN again, I'd like some horror comedy/scifi animated series besides stephen universe(which is good and popular)

Considering how much flak CN has been getting, including from older fans and former watchers I think your idea is good, considering how a mexican cartoonist's mini series called Villainous made the network's payroll.

On Cartoon Network's YouTube channel they have a thing where they play original random (pilot?) shorts called Cartoon Network Mini. Like this one: www.youtube.com/watch?v=idT98H…  I don't think they get a ton of attention, but it's something.

Head over to Frederator! They are always welcome to new creators and cartoons!

Great art here by the way!

It's about a 15 year old girl who moves to a new town and goes to a new school, but little does she know that literally all the students that attend her new school aren't human.Im even making a comic based on it! :v

Couldn't agree with you more. Also it seems as if the only animators/cartoonists who has a much better chance of pitching ideas to Cartoon Network are those who both lived in California and graduated from Calarts.

Not just CN, but many other reputable animation networks as well: from Disney to Dreamworks to Pixar to Nicktoons. They all seem to favour students from either Calarts or Sheridan College (the latter that, last I checked, was the number one animation school in the world, and the one I tried and failed get into), and people who live around Burbank, CA. The industry is so freakin' competitive. Eye Roll

I think Rebecca Sugar is the only one who isn't a CalArts graduate, but instead graduated from SVA in New York. I wanna enroll in SVA once I graduate from community college. I have been thinking about taking a major in cartooning since my dream is to be a storyboard artist/character designer.

Personally, I would love to see your characters animated on Adult Swim since Cartoon Network most likely disapprove your adult only humor.
